I was looking in my garden the other morning, it needs a tidy up of all the dead leaves that have built up. It will soon be time to start planting flowers, cutting the grass and the never-ending task of pulling out weeds.
No matter how hard you work and how many flowers you plant, the weeds will keep poking through, and the grass will need cutting. I used to get angry when life’s weeds would poke through but ultimately, I accepted that you just have to do what you can to deal with them.
I’ve also learned that there are some gardening tasks that I just can’t handle alone.
Major life problems aside, my aim for 2021 is to plant a few flowers when I can and keep pulling out the weeds as I can.
